Pastor Drew Phoenix is the first openly practicing transsexual minister within the United Methodist Church (UMC). Through my Carnegie-Knight Fellowship I had this summer, I traveled to Baltimore, Maryland to see how the recently self-outted minister interacted with his parishioners.
